# Forward Header

The Show Forward Header feature allows you to retain the original forward information when a message is forwarded. When enabled, recipients will see the original sender’s name and profile, just like a native Telegram forwarded message.

This helps increase credibility and engagement — especially useful for crypto signals, announcements, or influencer posts — as it shows where the message originally came from.

#### ⚙️ How It Works:

* When you forward a message (e.g., from your saved messages or another channel) using AutoForward,
* And you have “Show Forward Header” enabled,
* The message will be forwarded with the original source information at the top of the message.

#### ✅ Example:

If the original message was forwarded from:

> 🔁 Forwarded from Auto Forward Telegram BOT News

<figure><img src="https://3402573870-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FddnL4cgrrb4y0Pnwxc5r%2Fuploads%2FifVyXGyf0aG1Mq1HMzd7%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=38ad89c4-7916-40bb-b67f-6d4587f6c2e6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Then when it’s forwarded again with this feature on, the destination will also show that header — making it look like the message truly came from that original source.

### Display Mode (Forwarded Header)

<figure><img src="https://3402573870-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FddnL4cgrrb4y0Pnwxc5r%2Fuploads%2F61TkWVUcipH92skr0SwQ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=3c15f98c-a87a-41fd-b568-684de48d1e68" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Display Mode option allows you to customize when the “Forwarded from” label appears on messages forwarded by the bot. This gives you better control over how forwarded content looks in your target channels or groups.

#### 📂 Available Display Modes:

**✅ 1. Show on all auto-forwarded messages (Default)**

> Always show the “Forwarded from” label on every auto-forwarded message, regardless of whether the source message was forwarded or not.

🔹 Best for: Giving visibility and credit to the original channel, even if the message isn’t a native forwarded message.

***

**⭕ 2. Show only when source message is also forwarded**

> Only show the “Forwarded from” label if the message in the source chat was already a forwarded message.

🔹 Best for: Keeping your forwarded content cleaner and more natural, only showing the header when it matches the source behavior.

***

#### 🧠 Why this matters:

* Branding: Let your readers know where content comes from.
* Trust: Highlight official sources (e.g., crypto updates, influencer posts).
* Flexibility: You decide when the forwarded header is appropriate.
